It'll Grow Back

On July 13, celebrity mom Diane Lane, kicked off Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign by cutting off her hair live on NBC's Today Show. The campaign solicits healthy hair donations to create free wigs for women undergoing cancer treatments. If you would like to learn more about how you can get involved, please visit Pantene's website. (photo source: LA Times)

Another similar program worth noting is Locks of Love, an organizations that provides hairpieces to children 18 years and younger who suffer from any type of medical hair loss. Through this program, children can receive up to 8 hairpieces to be replaced every 18 months or as needed. Please visit their website at www.locksoflove.org

Wouldn't it it feel great knowing that something as simple as your hair is helping other women and children? Besides, it is too darn hot to have to suffer through the rest of the summer with a head full of hair!
